Harvesters, our illustrious Queen has announced the first ever Vicar Tribunal running from October 17-27. This is a time for the 5 guilds to come together in collaboration and partnership. Though we may have different specialties and interests, we are all alike in our service to Loom. This is a time to celebrate our guilds, each other and most importantly, our august ruler. Each of the Vicars will be introducing themselves to you this week. It is my hope that you will take the time to get to know them and their guild members. We have much to learn from each other.
Position: Vicar Harvester
Why did you agree to be a Vicar when the Dragon Queen approached you? I was very cautious and hesitant when our Queen approached me. Being a Vicar is a huge responsibility to my guild and a commitment to my queen. I also felt inadequate. How could I live up to our Queen’s high expectations? However, I ultimately decided that she wouldn’t have put her faith in me if there wasn’t some merit. Every day, I strive to be worthy of this position and our Queen’s favor.
What originally attracted you to your guild? I am a collector. Some might say that I like to hoard things I value. Not only do I like to hoard, but I am skilled at acquiring items. This is a much needed trait as a Harvester.
What do you like most about your guild? I love the gathering of food and resources, working with the land and the change of seasons and tracking and registering of Fenthri birth’s. My work is both interesting and endless. However, the most rewarding part of being Vicar of this guild has been getting to know my initiates.
What is one thing you want people to know about your guild/the Guild Games? The Harvesters are a hardworking and creative group of people! We have a guild pet and a guild emoji! . We aren’t just obsessed with collecting and gathering things.
If you weren’t the vicar of your guild, what guild would you want to be the vicar of and why? I would love to be a Rivet. I sometimes spend what little free time I have tinkering in secret. Just as growing and harvesting food is an honor and a privilege, so is the act of building something with your own two hands.
