Now that school is starting on Monday and summer is over, I thought it would be a good time to wrap up my summer travels. I’ve talked some about how crazy my summer was and how I was gone almost the whole time. Looking back the best way to explain it is to look at this map. I drove from Pacific coast to the Atlantic coast to the Mexican border and almost to Canada. This is the map of my epic summer.
We drove 9, 636 miles!
We visited 20 different states!
Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
We visited 9 national parks!
Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Yosemite, Alcatraz, Yellowstone, Devil’s Tower, Gulf Island National Seashore.
All in all we had an incredible summer. However, I was so glad to be home.
What did you do this summer?
